For our customer, a worldwide leading biotechnology company, we are seeking a Training & Development Senior Manager (m/f) for a permanent position in Central Switzerland/Swiss Plateau region Reference number: 89903/11 Your Duties: • Own sales rep development across the region, focussing particularly on improving the competitive selling skills of our sales forces and preparing for new competitors. • Focus on the implementation of strategies to defend our key brands from competitors. • Ensure that new sales reps in all affiliates are trainied to a high standard, particularly focussing on product and disease knowledge as well as competitive selling. • Work with other members of the Business Unit teams to develop innovative training programs for Sales Reps across the region and with the Global Training Group in order to maximise our use of resources and to ensure Global alignment on key training initiatives. • Active member of the Sales Training Manager Forum, taking the lead on key sales rep training initiatives. • Identify and work with high quality training providers with a proven track record of success in business and training expertise. • Provide objective evaluation of training delivered both internally and externally to ensure a high level of quality and effectiveness. • Identify development opportunities that will enhance the performance of teams and keep them at the leading edge of business practice. • Manage the design, implementation and evaluation of the annual sales rep product, disease and knowledge testing process across the region. Your Qualifications: • University degree. • Several years of experience within a pharma/biotec sales and/or marketing role including evidence of the ability to communicate with and influence middle and senior management. • Experience as a Development Manager is highly desirable. • Experience in design, delivery and evaluation of sales training programs for individuals and teams. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to create and sell a vision for training and development. • Strategic thinker with the ability to set training and development in a business context. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the business. • Fluency in English both in oral and written communication. • Experience of working in an international setting, across a variety of cultures.
