Life Sciences (Cell Biology) Product Specialist - London Competitive rates One of UK's leading Scientific Research and Analytical Companies looking to recruit a biological product specialist to work with their sales/marketing team. Working closely with the Business Manager you will be broadly responsible for providing technical expertise to clients/potential customers regarding the companies biological products and ensuring the sales and marketing teams have required scientific and technical knowledge of cellular biology to sell and market their products effectively. Specific Responsibilities;- Monitoring overall profitability of the Biologicals distribution business
- Liaising with marketing to produce accurate marketing material for new/existing products
- Ensure that all regulatory requirements for the import and distribution of products in the biomaterials portfolio are understood and complied with
- To answer queries from customers and European sales/operations staff
- Ensuring European sales staff have required product and operational knowledge to sell products in their territories including development and delivery of training programmes
- Provide support to field and office based sales representatives including the coordination of marketing initiatives for products in the Portfolio
- Provide back up support for other members of the Biologicals sales and customer service team
You will need;- Commercial experience in the life sciences market
- A life sciences qualification, ideally in cell biology or a related subject, or equivalent commercial experience
- Good organisational abilities with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Flexible individual with the right attitude and desire to succeed
- Team player, supportive of colleagues across the European business and the UK sales office
- Customer focussed
- Understanding requirements for the importation and distribution of biological materials across
