For our customer we are seeking a Business/Contract Manager in a big pharmaceutical company (m/f) contract projects assignments in Basel region Reference number: 85409/11 Start of the project: asap Project duration: 6 MM++ Your Duties: • Evaluates functional outsourcing needs and how changes in scientific or technical domains impact the current Roche outsourcing strategy • Defines or adapts the project- or function-, or service category specific sourcing strategies • Serves as primary contact to the internal customer’s team members for the outsourcing of their activities • Leads the outsourcing process, between the teams and potential vendors • Leads evaluation and selection of vendors in specific service categories, if required by the business • Leads and conducts negotiations with vendors • Measures performance of vendors with respect to quality of work, cost, communication and other related parameters • Accountable for the implementation of the procurement strategy and policies • Develops an in-depth understanding of these service categories • Outsourcing contracts, work orders, change orders, scopes of work, budgets, payment schedules, etc. • Negotiated savings • Outsourcing-specific guidance and advice • Knowledge sharing within C&O on specific service categories, if appropriate Your Qualifications: • Considerable drug development experience • Study / project management within the pharmaceutical or CRO sector coupled with demonstrated business acumen • Ability to work internationally and with multi-cultural teams. • Thorough understanding of Clinical Development / Contract management / Outsourcing management / Ideally, partnership management • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal • Strong customer focus. • Effective management of cross-functional teams Key information at a glance: Start: Asap Location: Basel, Switzerland Industry: Pharmaceutical Contract Type: Freelance Reference No.: 85409/11 Interested? www.hays.de/job.cfm?p=85409 Hays (Schweiz) AG Aeschengraben 6 CH-4010 Basel Phone: 0041 61 22 50 500 Fax: 0041 61 22 50 599 E-Mail: pharma@hays.ch
